Walk under the cliffs of the Organ Pipes, taking in the amazing views of the city and and towering dolerite cliffs the along the flat organ pipes track, before descending gently to the springs to explore it’s unique history.
A Wild Wellness walk of fire and ice. This classic loop walk starts form the Springs on kunanyi / Mt Wellington visiting a number of huts on the mountain and incorporates Wild Wellness experiences of ice bathing and fire side journaling.

Imagine retracing the footsteps of Charles Darwin’s climb of kunanyi / Mt Wellington. The walk will celebrate the rich natural sciences of the mountain and visit the sites of numerous ground breaking discoveries. Family and dog friendly.
Challenge yourself to this full day iconic walk. Dip your toe in the Derwent River and finish at the pinnacle of kunanyi / Mt Wellington 1271 meters above sea level. The trails will follow in Charles Darwin’s footsteps, taking in the full range of natural and cultural wonders that hide among the mountain slopes. Not one for the faint of heart – epic, challenging, but oh what a great achievement.
